Cansu Ozgul, a strategic design manager, creative director and entrepreneur, is the founder of ContempCo, an innovative New York-based strategic design consultancy. She’s a former account manager at Imaginity, an international branding, packaging design and integrated marketing agency active in the US, Europe and Asia with global branding clients such as Pepsi, Nestle, Cotex, and Kimberly-Clark. She previously worked in media and digital advertising at Giorgio Armani, and at leading design agency Fantasy Interactive, whose extensive client list includes Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola, Disney, Ford, CBS, Fox, NBC, Porsche, Ducati, Time Inc, AOL, etc. She also worked in marketing at Johnson Art Studio and Mosaic Fashions. Since 2012 she has been a member of Dream:in, a global open innovation project and network of creative leaders, visionaries, innovators, entrepreneurs and activists. She’s a co-owner of Mitra Textile Consultancy and Trade, based in Istanbul, Turkey, since 2008. She holds a BBA, Strategic Design and Management degree from Parsons School of Design, and learned Piano and Theory of Music at London’s Royal College of Music.
